Admissions
Based in the heart of Kingswood, we are very proud to serve our diverse local community. Originally one of the city’s technical colleges, in 2007 we converted into a secondary academy for local students, removing all admissions tests and interviews from the application process. Our admissions policy is now purely distance based, so the closer you are, the more likely you are to get in, with 95% of students coming from within two miles of John Cabot Academy.
The full admissions policy can be found on the policies page of the Academy website
As of September 2022, JCA has a permanent Pupil Admission Number (PAN) of 180 students in year 7
