CLF Post 16 Dancers Win National Championships

Dancers from CLF Post 16’s Dance Btec course joined with dancers from Angels Dance Academy at the National Championships in Bournmouth on 3rd July, winning as a team multiple first places and highest scores. They now have six bids to the World Championships in 2022!

Dancers come from all over Bristol and North Somerset to train, dance and study at Kingswood’s CLF Post 16 education centre hosted at John Cabot Academy and have overcome virtual lessons and online training, Covid lockdowns and exam stress to take home these awards. The troop are current reigning World Champions and look set to maintain their title next year.

Ms Cooper, Senior Principal of Post 16 has said “I am so proud of the hard work, commitment and sheer talent that our students demonstrate every day. The title of National Champions is well deserved, especially after the challenging year that they have had. We look forward to watching them perform in their summer showcase on September 1st and seeing them progress even more next year .”.
