John Cabot Academy students enjoy packed sporting weekend
Students from Years 7-10 at John Cabot Academy (JCA) recently showcased their sportsmanship and teamwork during an exciting visit to Condover Hall in Shropshire for a football tournament and other sporting activities.
JCA teams played over 30 matches of football in total against some very tough opposition.
Following the football matches, students engaged in a wide array of activities including tunnelling, archery, climbing, abseiling, high ropes, leap of faith, and laser tag.
The weekend was packed with exhilarating experiences that promoted both physical and personal growth.
Sarah Church, JCA’s Curriculum Team Leader for PE, said: “Students showed respect, gratitude, teamwork and fair play throughout the weekend. A great time was had by everyone that took part.”
The event was a resounding success, providing students with unforgettable memories and reinforcing the values of sportsmanship and camaraderie.
