Speakers for Schools Live Virtual Work Experience Opportunities

Work Experience after school, weekends and during school holidays 

There are a few things you must do in order to secure your  virtual work experience (VWEX) placement.

1. Apply for VWEX place through Speakers for School
2. Ask a parent or carer to approve your VWEX application by emailing [email protected], for the attention of Emma.
3. Once your application has been approved, the careers team will get approval from the school for your time away from studies for the experience.
4. Also look for opportunities during your holidays and you can do as many as you wish.
5. Ensure you put the (VWEX) in your diary, and make sure you turn up to your work experience. The careers team will be notified if you do not attend and will withdraw you from other work experience opportunities you have applied for if you do not have a valid reason for not attending your first.
6. Keep a journal of the experience to share. You could have a blog spot and write about your experience. Note what you learnt from the experience and enjoy.
