Careers: Opportunities with Burges Salmon
Bright Sparks
Bright Sparks is our week-long work experience scheme which takes place in our Bristol office, and is available for applications from students in years 10-12. Travel, accommodation (where necessary) and food expenses are paid throughout the week.
In 2025, it is taking place on the following dates:

Student information days
We are holding 2 x student information days in March 2025 at our Bristol office. One of the days will be tailed to GCSE stage students (11th March) and the other will be tailored to A Level stage students (13th March).
These information days give students the opportunity to gain an insight into a legal career from our lawyers, trainees and apprentices. They will also hear from business professionals across the firm, partake in an interview skills and application tips workshop, and hear about the opportunities we have to offer.
Students can register for this below – there are limited spaces, so we do encourage them to sign up quickly:
