At John Cabot Academy, we are committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive, succeed, and achieve their full potential. The Pupil Premium is additional funding provided by the government to help us support pupils who may face barriers to learning, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
We use this funding to deliver a wide range of targeted support and interventions designed to remove obstacles, raise attainment, and promote personal development. This includes academic support, wellbeing and pastoral provision, access to enrichment opportunities, and strategies that build confidence and engagement in learning.
Our approach is based on understanding each child’s individual needs. We carefully monitor progress so that the funding has a meaningful and positive impact on outcomes. Working closely with families, we aim to ensure every pupil feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed in school and beyond.
